The Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA) is a federal program established to compensate Department of Energy (DOE) employees, contractors, and atomic weapons workers who developed illnesses due to their work in the nuclear weapons industry. The program provides both financial compensation, private duty nursing, home health services, disability care and medical benefits to eligible individuals and their survivors.

If you have applied for the Medical Benefits Identification Card supplied by the U S Department of Labor Office of Workers’ Compensation Program, the Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program (DEEOIC) allows you to qualify for free home care at your residence. You may also qualify for medical treatment, medical services, and pharmacy benefits.
